The business strategy gives targets and orientation to the operations strategy. In the logical cascade the business strategy has to be defined before the operations strategy to achieve operations excellence on that basis. All key processes are oriented accordingly. Without that guideline the risk that processes are counteracting each other is high.
We always start with a reflection of the business strategy in our projects. On that basis we can show contradictions if there are any. All optimisation approaches have to be oriented accordingly.
